Taking Steps of FAITH Forward

Do you find yourself in a space of tension between how you have always done things and fighting to take steps forward and do them differently? Does it feel as though God has pinned you in a corner and he's waiting on you to trust him deeper, make a move and partner with him for the change you so desperately desire to break through??

Well if you answered YES to both of those questions, you are in GOOD company. I have always viewed myself as a woman of Faith but this past year I felt like God was asking me to dig deeper. I have had a very, very long journey in the field of education and most of it has truthfully been pretty painful. I have kept my eyes on Jesus though and followed his leadership in faith.

Recently he confirmed that I was to walk out on the waves deeper and trust him even more in the area of my work. I believe he's calling me to serve families who are also taking steps of faith to educate their children from home. Is this you? If so, I am excited about beginning this new journey ahead with you!

It may be scary stepping out and trying something new for the betterment of your treasures, your children, but I believe nothing is impossible with God and his provision for who, what and where you have need. Let's partner together on this journey forward!

The gospel (the Good News) of Jesus Christ is SIMPLE. God our Father loves us so much that he sent his only son Jesus to die for us, redeem us from death, hell and the grave and rose again in newness of life. We have EVERYTHING Jesus has here and now on earth as in Heaven! Adding to… MORE. 🌷 The ampersand: & means “and” but it is also said to symbolize unity in partnerships/marriages because it was originally created to join the ‘e’ and the ‘t’. It is also a metaphor for life because of life’s ups and downs. Personally, it symbolizes the MORE of God my Father; that he’s continually “adding to” in our journey together. When I see an ampersand, I immediately think of my covenant with Jesus. I saw this phrase on a country church marquee on my way home from thanksgiving time with my family and the Holy Spirit keeps bringing it up! His Goodness is His Glory and His Glory is His Goodness. God can only be Good. Good means: having admirable, pleasing, superior, or positive qualities; not negative, bad or mediocre. Bad things happen because man sinned in the Garden of Eden and fell short of the Glory of God. In the winter of 2011 the Lord told me to read a book my brother had given me called ‘Let Go’. I had owned the book for a few years, but it just sat on my shelf unread. In 2011 I was at a major crossroads in my life and needing clear direction. I finally read this book and had an encounter with the Lord, that eventually lead me to take the boldest step of faith I’d ever made in my life, move to another state, where I didn’t know anyone and pioneer something brand new. Flash forward to the summer of 2018, the Lord said it was time to Let Go AGAIN, after 6 long years of blood, sweat and many, many tears. By faith again, I let go and found myself transforming and healing in mighty ways, but still perplexed at what the Lord was doing in my life. Then in the spring of 2019, I encountered the Lord in an even deeper way and heard him say: “Rachel, Let Go. Move Forward. And I’ll give you More. This will be the phrase that guides your walk with me toward Home.” So I did! I let go of the state I had moved to by faith, per his leading, and came back to Texas, where I’m from. It didn’t make “sense” but I obeyed. It’s been 4 years since and here again, he is calling me to let go and move forward, so he can continue to transform and bless me. If I have learned anything in the past 12 years it’s this: God doesn’t need my approval of his decisions and ways, he just needs my heart. He wants to fulfill ALL and I do mean ALL he’s placed inside me. But he cannot do it if I don’t trust him and LET GO in and out of every season of my life; whether it makes sense to me or not. He cannot fill hands that hold on. Jesus is the only thing we can and must hold onto all our lives. He’s the prize. He’s the fulfillment. He’s the sustainer. He’s the healer. He’s the redeemer.
